Play. Challenge. Give.
You're already playing golf, going for a run, hosting a games night, or chasing a target at work. Play4Good turns that into a challenge. Set yourself a pledge, challenge a friend, or put a stake on the thing you were already doing, and it becomes funding for a growing network of vetted South African charities.
Funds reach our charities three ways. The first: challenge a friend, or set yourself a personal challenge, and donate once it's done. Create a fundraiser to capture every challenge and pledge in one place, and the funds go straight to our vetted charities.
The second: get your club or organisation involved. Register for your own branded page, then every member who takes on a challenge or sets a pledge captures it under your club's name, still supporting the same shared pool.
The third: back a cause directly. Registered charities run their own campaign on Play4Good, and every challenge or pledge their supporters capture under it sends funds straight to that charity.
A challenge, a pledge, a bit of friendly rivalry, that's all it takes.
Golf, a run, a games night, a work challenge, a school day. You don't need a new activity, just the one you already had planned.
Challenge a friend, or set yourself a pledge. Capture it in a fundraiser page in seconds.
Share your page and take donations by card, SnapScan or EFT. Every donation shows up live on your fundraiser's progress bar.
Your donations join Play4Good's shared pool of vetted charities, or go straight to the specific charity you fundraised for.
However you choose to give, it all supports the same cause.
Play golf, go for a run, host a games night, or chase a target at work, then challenge someone (or set yourself a pledge) and donate once it's done. Create a fundraiser to capture it, and the funds support Play4Good's shared pool of vetted charities.
Any golf course, running club, or other club or organisation can register to get its own branded page, then share it with its members so anyone can start a fundraiser under the club's name. Funds still support the shared pool.
Registered charities can run their own fundraiser on Play4Good and get their own supporters to each start a fundraiser under it. Funds raised this way go straight to that charity, not the shared pool.
We started Play4Good after years spent close to South African charities, watching incredible people do incredible work. Feeding children. Educating teenagers with nothing. Caring for communities that had been forgotten. And still fighting every single month just to keep the lights on.
The usual ways of raising funds aren't working anymore. Donors are tired of galas, raffles and the same guilt-driven asks. CSI budgets get cut. Grants disappear. And the charities carrying the weight of this country's most vulnerable people are left sending proposals into silence.
So we built something different. A small donation attached to the things people already love doing. Challenge a friend, or challenge yourself, and let the moment become something bigger. It isn't about a handful of big donors. It's thousands of ordinary South Africans giving a small amount, again and again, until it adds up to something extraordinary.
However you like to play, there's a way to turn it into a fundraiser.

Whether you are a school, a club, a church, or a company, Play4Good works for you.
Once a month, learners bring R5 or any amount, choose an activity they enjoy, and spend an hour playing for good. No campaigns, no sponsorship forms and no pressure on parents.
Once a month your school holds a Play4Good Day. Learners bring R5 or any amount, choose any activity they enjoy, and spend 30 minutes to 2 hours playing for good. The school decides the day, the activity, and the format.
Every school can create its own Play4Good fundraiser page, a single link where every donation from your Play4Good Day is captured, tracked, and shown in real time. Here's a live example:
A Play4Good Day is more than a fun activity. It is one of the most powerful lessons a child can learn. That they have the ability to make a difference, right now, with whatever they have.
Most children grow up hearing about charities and causes. Play4Good lets them experience giving personally. When a child contributes R5 and then sees the quarterly report showing what that collective giving achieved, something shifts.
They stop seeing giving as something adults do. They start seeing it as something they can do too.
Play4Good connects learners to the reality that not every child in South Africa has what they have. That awareness, experienced through a fun and positive activity rather than a lecture, builds genuine empathy.
Children who grow up giving grow up caring. And caring changes everything.
When every learner in a class contributes R5, and every class in a school does the same, and every school in a city joins in, the numbers become extraordinary.
Play4Good teaches children the power of collective action. That small things, done together, add up to something much bigger than any one person could achieve alone.
South Africa needs young people who feel personally responsible for the country they are inheriting. Play4Good builds that sense of responsibility early, in a way that feels natural rather than forced.
A child who gives monthly from the age of seven does not stop when they grow up. They carry it with them.
Register your school and get your own standalone page: logo, cover photo, and description included. From there, create as many fundraisers as you like under it, this month's Play4Good Day, a grade's own drive, a class challenge, and every one is tracked together on your school's page.
Donate your learners collected contributions right here by card, SnapScan, or bank transfer.
Register your own company page, and every staff challenge, sales competition, or game at work can be captured as a fundraiser under it, all showing up together on your page. One monthly EFT, full compliance reporting and Section 18A receipts.
Most companies write a CSI cheque at year end. A board signs off on it, it goes to a charity, and nobody inside the business feels it. The staff who worked hard all year have no connection to the giving that happened in their name.
Play4Good changes that completely. Instead of a once-a-year cheque, your CSI budget becomes a living programme that runs through your organisation every single month. Staff do not just hear about your CSI commitment. They are your CSI commitment.
Every challenge completed, every target hit and every game played triggers a donation. Staff feel the giving because they created it. That connection changes company culture in a way that a cheque never can.
Any department, team or company can create their own Play4Good fundraiser page, a single link where every donation from a sales incentive or team challenge is captured, tracked, and shown in real time. Here's a live example:
Link your monthly sales targets to giving. Every time a sales rep hits a milestone, a pre-agreed donation fires. Teams compete to hit targets knowing that every number on the board has a real-world consequence beyond the business.
Sales culture changes when winning also means giving. Your team pushes harder and feels better doing it.
Attach micro-donations to your wellness programme. Every 10,000 steps, every gym session and every healthy activity your staff complete triggers a donation to Play4Good.
Staff get healthier, feel motivated and give back at the same time. Three wins from one programme. Wellness engagement goes up because there is now a purpose beyond personal health.
Once a month your team plays a Play4Good game together. A quiz, a relay, a scavenger hunt or a creative challenge. Entry is R20 to R50 per person and the energy in the room is unlike anything a standard team-building session creates.
People look forward to it. They talk about it. And they know their fun is funding something real.
These companies are registered Play4Good partner pages. Start a fundraiser tagged to one of them, for a sales challenge, a wellness programme, or any staff giving campaign, and the company gets the credit, while every rand still goes to Play4Good's shared pool of vetted South African charities. Companies never receive or handle the funds directly.
Beyond running a giving programme through your team, Play4Good also welcomes corporate sponsors who want to back the organisation itself: funding our reach into more schools, clubs, churches, and companies across South Africa.

Monthly Play4Good events that bring congregations together, building fellowship while raising funds for those who need it most.
Churches are the most natural giving communities in South Africa. Generosity, compassion, and caring for others are not add-ons to what a church does. They are the foundation of it.
Play4Good gives your congregation a structured, fun, and tangible way to live that generosity every month. Not through a collection plate. Through an activity that brings people together, creates fellowship, and generates real impact for South African charities at the same time.
Your congregation does not just hear about people being helped. They become the people doing the helping. That is a powerful thing to experience as a community.
Every congregation can create their own Play4Good fundraiser page, a single link where every donation from your monthly event is captured, tracked, and shown in real time. Share it with your church community, and watch the giving grow together.
Start Your FundraiserMost churches already give. Play4Good simply makes that giving visible, communal, and connected to something your congregation can see and measure. When people see the impact of their collective generosity, faith in what is possible grows alongside it.
Giving is not just a value in most faith communities. It is a practice. Play4Good gives your congregation a structured monthly giving practice that is active, participatory, and joyful rather than passive.
When giving becomes something you do together every month, it becomes part of who you are as a community.
Play4Good events bring your congregation together in a way that goes beyond a Sunday service. A quiz night, a games evening or a fun day brings all ages and all life stages together around something that matters.
Fellowship deepens when people do things together. Play4Good gives your congregation something to do together every single month.
Every quarter your congregation receives a full impact report showing which charities their giving reached and what changed because of it. Real numbers. Real lives. Real impact.
When your congregation can see what their giving achieved, generosity grows. People give more when they know it is making a difference.
There is no prescribed format for a Play4Good church event. Your church knows its congregation better than anyone. Choose whatever brings your people together and makes them smile.
These churches are registered Play4Good partner pages. Start a fundraiser tagged to one of them, for a quiz night, a fun day, a sports day, or any congregation event, and the church gets the credit, while every rand still goes to Play4Good's shared pool of vetted South African charities. Churches never receive or handle the funds directly.

Even when you lose, you win because you made a difference.
Set yourself a personal giving target tied to your game.
Donate R10 per bogey, R20 per birdie, or whatever you decide. The worse you play, the more you give. And the better you feel about it.
Settle up immediately after your game with a quick card payment or SnapScan.

Snap a photo or short video of your round, your challenge, or your donation moment.
Share it on social media and tag @play4goodfoundation. Show the world how you played for a good cause.
A partner golf course isn't limited to one campaign. Once your club is registered, you can set up as many as you like, all linked back to your club's page so every rand raised counts toward your club's total.
Set up a campaign that donates for every double bogey. Or one for missing a specific nominated green. Members join voluntarily and give based on how their own round goes.
Create a campaign for a betterball competition or your club championship. Members who choose to take part give as part of the competition.
Set up a campaign for one of your golf day sponsors. Your partner can then share that campaign link with everyone playing on the day.
Individual members can still start their own fundraiser under your club's page too, for their own challenge or cause.

Friends, family, neighbours. Any gathering becomes a giving event when you Play4Good. Fun, competitive, and every entry or lost game goes straight to charity. Even when you lose, you win because you made a difference.
People have been gathering around games for thousands of years. Games evenings bring out the best in people. The laughter, the competitiveness, the stories, the moments. Play4Good simply adds one more layer to all of that. The gathering now has a purpose that goes beyond the evening itself.
There is no simpler way to raise money for charity than to host an evening your friends and family already want to come to. No sponsorship forms. No awkward asks. Just an evening people pay to attend because they genuinely want to be there, and every rand goes straight to a vetted South African charity.
Games evenings also grow. The first one might be ten people around your dining room table. Six months later it is forty people in a venue and people are already asking when the next one is.
Every host can create their own Play4Good fundraiser page, a single link where every donation from your games evening is captured, tracked, and shown in real time. Share it with everyone coming, and watch the total grow before, during and after the evening itself.
Start Your FundraiserFriends and family getting together for a fun evening of games where every entry donation goes to charity. No need to wait for the whole evening. Settle it head-to-head right here, and the loser makes a small donation.

Play4Good is growing. We are looking for companies who want to do more than write a cheque at year end. We want sponsors who believe in what we are building and want to be part of it every month.
Most CSI programmes happen once a year and nobody inside the company feels them. Play4Good is different. It runs every month, through activities your staff already enjoy, and every quarter your team sees exactly where the money went and what it did.
Your sponsorship of Play4Good goes directly into our ability to grow. It funds outreach to schools, clubs, churches, and companies. It pays for charity vetting, onboarding, and the quarterly impact reporting that keeps everyone accountable.
The more we grow, the more charities we can support. Funds you put behind us multiply into giving across South Africa.
You are not funding a campaign. You are funding the engine that makes the whole thing run.
Your name on the story. Founding sponsors are recognised on our website, in our communications, and in every quarterly impact report we publish.
Full impact reporting. Every quarter you receive a report showing exactly where the funds went and what changed because of them.
Section 18A tax certificate. Sponsorship funds go directly to the Play4Good Foundation NPO, so your company can be issued a Section 18A certificate for the donation, making it deductible against taxable income.
Staff who feel it. Invite your team into Play4Good channels, charity visits, and the moments that make giving real rather than corporate.
First mover advantage. The companies who come in early shape what Play4Good becomes. That matters more than most people think.
Play4Good is at the start of something. The model works. The channels are live. The charities are vetted and ready to receive.
What we need now is the capacity to scale. To get into every school. To activate every golf club. To reach every congregation and every corporate team in South Africa.
Be part of building something that outlasts a campaign.
Three ways to get involved, from a first step to a full naming partnership.
From R50,000 / year
From R100,000 / year
From R250,000 / year
Founding Sponsors can put their name directly on one of Play4Good's giving channels, the same channels thousands of South Africans already use every month.
Channel naming rights are included with our Founding Sponsor tier, and only one sponsor holds each channel at a time. Once a channel is taken, it is taken, so the earlier you come in, the more choice you have.
Know an organisation doing incredible work in South Africa that deserves more support? The fastest way to get them on board is to send them straight to our charity registration page, they can apply in a few minutes themselves.
Every application goes through our formal vetting process. We look at NPO registration, governance, track record, and the quality of the work they do on the ground, before they're approved, listed, and able to start receiving support.
Send them to play4good.org/charities, or if you'd rather we reach out on your behalf, email us at info@play4good.org with the organisation's name and what they do.
One of the most powerful things you can do for Play4Good right now is simply tell people about it. Share our story on social media. Tag a school principal, a golf club, a church, or a company you think should be involved.
Post about your Play4Good game, your donation moment, or the charity your contribution supported. Every post reaches people we have not met yet.

Race a friend, chase a personal goal, or pledge per kilometre. However you move, make it count for good.
South Africans lace up and clip in every single week, before sunrise, after work, alone or in a pack, covering millions of kilometres that used to mean nothing beyond a good time on the leaderboard. Play4Good turns that same sweat into real funding for the causes that need it most. No extra time, no separate fundraiser, just the run or ride you were already going to do, now carrying a little more weight.
A single parkrun between friends can fund a school lunch. A month of training can help cover a shelter's electricity bill. It costs you nothing you weren't already giving to the road, and it turns every rep, every hill, every early alarm into something that outlasts the finish line.
Running solo? Create your own fundraiser and turn your next training block into a cause. Part of a club or running crew? Set up one fundraiser for the whole group and rally everyone behind a fun challenge that means something beyond the podium.
Every runner or rider can create their own Play4Good fundraiser page, a single link where every donation from your run or ride is captured, tracked, and shown in real time. Here's a live example:
